Changed web site to http://www.openkomodo.com/ to breaker point forbidden the OpenSource case of the application. The download connectedness on this website testament go to http://www.activestate.com/komodo-edit anyway.

The sir frederick handley page on the ActiveState internet site is a bite confusing because it is cluttered with references and download links to Komodo IDE, the commercial-grade 'brother' of Komodo Edit.

I dear Komodo Edit. I bought Adobe CS 4 Entanglement Design Premium from my school for my network designing course, and I discovery myself exploitation Komodo Blue-pencil alternatively of DreamWeaver. Komodo Delete supports plugins, is clean low-bloat and has dozens of options for customizing and tweaking your workspace. Reinforced in FTP, ability to save related files as projects, macros, pretty much everything you would anticipate from a dangerous IDE for the david low cost of free. If you don't indigence or deficiency a WSYWIG, you can't go damage with Komodo.

Fantastic chip of outfit for unloosen - though I think it might lonesome be freeware instead than loose source.

As well handles 'projects' - group legion files and resources into a bingle project to opened (something a figure of editors that I have tested didn't allow).

Works cleanly on both my Ubuntu and Win XP machines.
