I was planning on buying a permit for Fraps, but then I noticed that the finale update is from February 2013, which makes me a chip uncertain. Does anybody know about the condition and future of the project?

Not that I believe the curriculum is in awful demand of whatever improvements or bugfixes. But almost deuce days without an update is a hanker time, especially for a plan that used to be updated quite on a regular basis (usually at least at one time a month, and ne'er a break thirster than 6). Also, the finis adaptation figure "3.5.99" looks the likes of it was alleged to be the finish acquittance ahead a bigger update.

As the cost is comparatively high, I would hesitate a flake to cash register a software system when maybe I'll before long no yearner be able to acquire whatsoever support.

I acknowledge I'm replying to a c. w. post that's respective months old, but I would annul this software. You are adjust the last edition is 3.5.99, released Feb. 2013. I rich person read many reviews that financial support does not exist anymore, in the fact that they don't reply to inquiries to the web-form submissions on their network site, as that is the only agency to contact them.

I call back this might wealthy person been a sole-developer cast and it either was abandoned or the developer vanished.

Real useful but has deuce problems as army for the liberation of rwanda as I am concerned. First, it splits files at 4 GB even on NTFS. Second, I wouldn't brain some compressing options for those of us that would care to forfeit a fiddling CPU to decrease single file sizes. Perhaps compression is a organ pipe ambition evening on a bodoni quad-core ... I don't know.
